One smoooth kill for Red. It bodes well for our firther attempts on Nightbane.

Gratz to all those there for the kill and thanks to all those that did the hard work that led up to it. Big cheers to Kol who stepped out after lag ruined his evening.

Dragonfly™ Red Razes Prince Malchezaar. Rawr!!
Posted by Waja on Monday, June 04, 2007 (06:26:49) (69 reads)

Congratulations to all involved in Red Raid. After numerous attempts and heartbreaking, 10, 3 and 1 percent wipes, we finally downed the Demonic filth. May his Infernals crumble and be eaten by ants who are in turn eaten by larger animals who may forever crap out their remains (not that we're bitter or anything).

It has been a pleaseure to lead Red Raid and I must highlight the exceptional preparedness of our raiders, who even had spare pots, to help out those who were picked for the raid at such short notice.

If there's a lesson in this, it surely is: never understimate the power of fools in large numbers! We am tards, hear us rawr!!!

Dragonfly™ Shade Deaded
Posted by Waja on Monday, May 21, 2007 (07:15:04) (71 reads)

Possibly one of the most frustrating bosses to ever grace WoW has been downed by Team Blue!

All this pre-nerf as well.

Gratz to Dyshendra on some nice shoulders and Senses on his Cloak.

Congratulations to Blue raid on sticking it out and getting Prince down for a Zenith first. Also, a big thanks to all raiders who have been involved in the lead up runs to make this possible.

Zenith Red gains momentum
Posted by Ol_zenith on Saturday, April 21, 2007 (00:55:47) (125 reads)

With coffees/beer in hand and after a one week layoff Red raid has re-entered Karazhan for its third week and swept most in its path in what is growing to be a top week. Despite the efforts of one of Wyterhino's kids deciding to pull out his modem from the wall (though we just think this is a crap excuse and he needed to look at himself in a mirror).

On Wednesday we took in 4 people who had not seen the fights before and it was Smackdown-2007 Zenith style. Attumen, Moroes and Romulo & Julianne wished we had walked into another instance ID as they were all sleeping with the fishes by the end of the first night.

I think Blizzard has been trying to tease us with random drops since we don't have a Pally - as no less than three Drape of the Righteous have seen the disenchanters wrath.

On Friday, it was time for Curator and despite some early dps-issues the bigger they are the harder they fall and down he went and coughed up Zenith's third piece of Tier-4. Off to Shade of Arun we went to learn the encounter and we reliably got him down to 40%, hopefully a kill is in order on Sunday!

We will do Chess either on Sunday or Monday and this would equal Zenith's best efforts in Karazhan so far. Here's hoping we can go one step further and see Prince by the end of the week.
